The Shortlist

The Write Factor is pleased to announce an exclusive element to its Publishing Agency: the inclusion of an online Shortlist, where the best work submitted to The Write Factor is shortlisted for a Special Award.

Once a year, the best novels, articles, short-stories and poems – as selected by The Write Factor team – are judged on the basis of the number of votes received from the website shortlist and by a panel of judges. The winner will receive a Special Award that could range from prize money to a short course at The Arvon Foundation; from full representation to free manuscript services.

This is a unique opportunity offered to potential writers and poets by The Write Factor. We also hope that our Shortlist will get noticed by publishers such as HarperCollins, Virago, Barefoot Books, The Women’s Press etc., whose editors will visit The Write Factor website on a regular basis to see who is being nominated by the great British public as a fantastic new up-and-coming writer.

So, if you use The Write Factor’s services, your work may be selected for our Shortlist and could win a Special Award – and who knows, it may even be read by a film-producer or editor and picked-up as a potential ManBooker Prize nominee or become a successfully published novel …
