Mentoring
Have you ever needed a personal ‘writing buddy’ – someone who gives you inspiration on an uninspiring day? Someone who can suggest a plot-line that you hadn’t considered or a piece of research that could complete your thesis?
Our Mentoring service aims to do just that. You will be assigned an Editor who will work with you on a one-to-one basis to facilitate the completion of your work. Being one-step removed from your writing process, your Editor will develop a clear overview of the piece you are writing and will be experienced in providing you with the guidance and support to help complete it.
Whilst your Editor will not write the piece for you, s/he will suggest titles, headings, sub-headings, chapter headings, paragraph restructuring, potential features, new directions and alternative sentences to improve and strengthen your piece. This process reinforces your own confidence in your writing ability, enabling you to develop your own authentic voice.
Mentoring - Article, essay, short story
Up to 5,000 words
£20.00 per 1,000 words
(If your piece is 3,000 words, put ‘3’ in your basket, ie: 3 ×1,000 words. Round down or up to the nearest thousand words.)

Mentoring - longer novel or thesis
Over 5,000 words
£15 per 1,000 words.
(If your piece is 19,000 words, put ‘19’ in your basket, ie: 19 ×1,000 words. Round down or up to the nearest thousand words.)
